TITHING
God’s Word describes the tithe as a testimony to God’s ownership. God asks us to tithe, not because it’s what He wants from you, but because it’s what He wants for you.
God is the provider, therefore He owns it all. It’s through the giving of our tithes (10%) and offerings (above the tithe) that we allow God to use our finances for His purpose.
2 Corinthians tells us that we shouldn’t give with an attitude of obligation or pressure…In fact, God loves a cheerful giver! As you develop biblical financial habits, we encourage you to make giving a priority. Include it in your budget first – and find the joy that comes with generosity.
DONOR ADVISED FUNDS
